At the root of EFT is the belief that your body is giving you information about your emotional states.
When you listen and address these concerns, the body responds positively but when you ignore or suppress those emotions the body continues to send you messages.
Energy Healer Julie Motz has described osteoporosis as a disease that results hiding anger something women in our western culture are programmed to do from an early age. The creators of MetaMedicine say that heart attacks are caused by the direct loss of some type of territory near the time of the attack. Caroline Myss “mainly in people who have been psychologically, emotionally and physically over-active and are in serious need of stabilising their lives.” These are all common patterns I have seen with my clients.
The traditional model of disease and degeneration in the body is that genes are responsible interestingly enough though they’ve never been able to find a defective gene that has led to cancer. Epigenetics is the new science that claims that our beliefs are more important that environmental factors in whether we will be healthy, happy, and whole or sick, depressed, and broken. Attitudes and perceptions control epigenetics. The only limits we have on our ability to heal ourselves and be happy is out in the environmental fields. Those fields are influenced by those people around us, and your culture. Have you ever heard of the phrase, “It’s hard to be a prophet in your own kingdom”? The people around you who have known you your entire life, as well intentioned as they might be, may be holding you from achieving complete remission, success in your career, or a satisfying relationship. These people make up some of those fields. Their own limitations and disappointments can and do persuade your thinking and beliefs. By using EFT on yourself or with the help of a practitioner you can easily track each and every negative belief to programming that was done in your past. Often those beliefs were inserted before age 7 and that is the heart of Matrix Reimprinting.
Bruce Lipton believes that the cells don’t actually hold onto information but have receptors that act like antanae that receive information in the field and from the brain. The cells are constantly asking, “Am I healthy (happy), or am I ill (fearful/sad/grief-ridden)?”
“What happens if a cell experiences a stressful environment but does not have a gene program (behavior) to deal with the stress? It is now recognized that cells can “rewrite” existing gene programs in an effort to overcome the stressful condition. These DNA changes are mutations. Until recently, all mutations were thought to be “random,” meaning that the outcome of the mutation could not be directed. It is now recognized that environmental stimuli can induce “adaptive” mutations that enable a cell to specifically alter its genes. Furthermore, such mutations may be mediated by an organism’s perception of its environment. For example, if an organism “perceives a stress that is actually not there, the misperception can actually change the genes to accommodate the “belief.” – Dr. Lipton
The importance of changing the information in the field then can’t be emphasized enough. This is why the work of Matrix Reimprinting is so important. One of the last steps in MR is to send a signal to all the cells letting them know that things have changed. The last step on MR is to send that new reality into the field. By the way, Karl Dawson’s theory is that the field is none other than the subconscious mind which we access regularly through the use of EFT.
